Movie Night and Additional Updates for the week

There are 5 weeks of school left, work has been constantly piling up on you, and you are mere seconds away from self destruct. We understand you are busy, but we all need a break from the craziness of college life.  Your friends at the Career Center got you covered.

Tonight from 6pm to 7:30pm at the Clark Center in room 1.120 there will be a screening of the summer comedy, ‘The Internship’. According to rottentomatoes.com ‘The Internship’, starring ‘Old School’ and ‘Wedding Crashers’ duo Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson, is about two salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students.

There will be popcorn and drinks provided. All you have to do is show up ready to have a great night.

Career Fest

Tomorrow from 1pm to 4pm is Career Fest. Career Fest is an opportunity for students to network with career partners, play carnival games, win prizes, and enjoy some carnival food. There will also be an opportunity to donate to the comet cupboard. For preferred items to bring go to the Career center blog.

While at Career Fest take some awesome pictures and use the hash tag #DEIUTD. We not only want to like your pictures but follow you as well.

Reverse EXPO

The Career Center and DEI are hosting the Reverse Career Expo this Friday from 2pm to 4pm. This is an opportunity for student organizations to showcase themselves to employers. To register your student group contact Shereada Harell.
