With the hype of homecoming behind us, we turn to focus on student career development for graduating seniors. Fall graduation is, literally, around the corner. The career center has gone into overdrive cranking out networking sessions, resume workshops, and the Just In Time Expo.

Making Networking Work For You

This networking seminar will be held in SSB 3.107 Monday at 2 pm. Students will learn how business networking and informational interviews can help them tap into job openings before they are posted for everyone else to see. Handout will be provided to help students enhance their networking skills.

Resume Workshop – Think Like a Resume Editor

Does your resume scream professional or novice? Whether you need just a tweak or a massive overhaul this workshop will have you think like a resume editor.

This workshop will be held in SSB 3.107 Tuesday at 12 pm. This is an interactive workshop which puts students in the driver’s seat and gives hands-on experience to develop an “eye-catching resume”. With the just in time Career Expo this Wednesday it would not be a bad idea to come partake in this workshop and all it has to offer.

Just In Time Expo

You kept your grades up, met some cool people, and had a great college experience. You’re excited about graduating, but you just realized you haven’t found a job. Don’t fret, this career expo is just in time.

The Just in Time Expo will be in the SU Galaxy Rooms and start at 1 pm. This expo is for all students graduating this December and alumni seeking part-time or full-time opportunities. Over 30 employers from various sectors and industries will be ready to connect you to the perfect job just in time.
